Description

A heavily stylized adventure art game about Lona, a girl trapped inside her drawings inspired by life hardships. Accompany Lona through her inner struggle to find peace of mind and find out what she has been through. Each puzzle and item tells a story but it is up to you to piece them together and interpret all clues.
Relax and enjoy each scene which is like an interactive painting with a musical harmony and let the aesthetics lead you through the puzzles and Lona's story.
As more playful as Ms. Schmidt is, solve the Easter egg puzzles and find the hidden levels of Ms. Schmidt and her surrealistic story! Experience the good feeling of playing a classic adventure, but all through images and sounds instead of dialogues or inventories! Delve into the paintings and let the immersion drive your through the whole experience.

History

Features

A fantastic switch mechanic that not only switches between two worlds but between two different Art Styles for Mr. Ruppel and Ms. Schmidt's universes, and experience these ''Real vs. Surreal'' artistic universes!

Items and abilities:

Universe needs balance and so do Lona's paintings of her inner struggles. You have to bring balance between the dark, logical and realistic universe of Mr. Ruppel and the colorful and surrealistic universe of Ms. Schmidt! You can borrow objects, colors and light from each universe to create this balance, and solve all the story-based challenges. The final result of each level is a perfect harmony done by you, as Ying meets Yang!

Sound Track:

The original music made for each level is at least half of the experience! Each one composed by our talented musician, and splitted into two versions for both universes! Needless to mention that the vocals are also done by Taraneh, the one and only artist of Lona's adventure!

Story:

Lona is a teenage girl, an artist, struggling with life's difficulties and hardships. Her only escape is her sketchbook and paintings in which she draws and paints to deal with life challenges. She is struggling to find inner peace with what has happened through her life. Her paintings of life changing incidents are both drawn from logical perspective of Mr. Ruppel or the chaotic view of Ms. Schmidt and you have to help her find the balance between these ever-conflicting feelings. Each scene and level tells a part of Lona's life story and the way she tries to deal with real life difficulties. You have to solve puzzles and use items important to her to try and bring her peace of mind.
Lona's story will be narrated in a non linear fashion with no dialogues and conventional narration methods. Instead you have to piece together all the clues given through levels, puzzles and an insane symphony of visual arts. This is our way of narrating a story of extreme emotions, one's inner conflicts and fighting to win against hardships of real life via a unique story telling medium called video game!

Oh, and her studio is also launching a Kickstarter soon for Lona: Realm of Colors, an adventure game about exploring a young girl's memories. It looks cool! "
